The blackbird

We have a small tree in our garden which produces clumps of very small purple berries; we don't know its name, but the blackbird loves the berries. I have tried to get a picture of him eating them, but this has proved difficult. However, this blip is of him sitting on the garage roof, near the berries, having a rest between courses.

Blackbirds are such fiesty birds!

Thanks to all of you blippers who gave me stars and hearts for my kite at the beach shot yesterday, you put it in the spotlight early last evening, and it is still there. I am so pleased, firstly that it is in the spotlight and secondly that it has been there now for over twenty four hours....... just amazing...... thanks a million!
