'I am a photographer not a terrorist' demo!

Following several high profile detentions under section 44 of the Anti-terrorrism Act 2000 in the UK, photographers (amateur and professional) gathered in Trafalgar Square to stage a protest against the infringements of their rights to take pictures in public places.

The mass protest in Trafalgar Square in front of the National Portrait gallery building was particularly poignant in highlighting the importance of photography as art and history!
