What a night! What a day!

Worst night EVER last night! Little man went down at his normal time but then woke up at 10:30 and didn't sleep again till nearly 3am! The only way I got him to sleep was in the pushchair, walking round and round the living room. I then set up camp on the sofa for all of 4 hours before he woke up again.

I rang the doctors at 8am this morning only to be told by an electronic voice that the surgery is closed. (It clearly says in the website it's open on Saturdays.)

So I take him to the walk in centre where we are assessed by one nurse then off to see another. She isn't 100% sure what's wrong and sends us to the children's unit at the hospital.

Well after another assessment by a nurse and then a doctor and having waited a total 4 hours we get diagnosed with Croup.

Poor little man, no wonder he was suffering.
