And it works! Housewives come from as far as Donaghmede or Killester to have their breasts weighed by Mick and Johnny (their thighs and drumsticks too...)
The new black outfits (they finally gave up on trying to wash the blood stains on the old white ones) remind me of a cross between Father Ted and Jacky Chan. But I did not dare say it to their face as they always have an ultra sharp meat cleaver at hand...
These two guys (and Arthur Guinness) are responsible for my rapidly clogging arteries, but at least my heart attack can be attributed to top products!
Gleesons Family Butcher are open Monday to Saturday in the Kilbarrack Shopping Centre, from 10.00am to 6.00pm. They are cheaper than Tesco just across the aisle, better quality and much better craic!
