Over the Boatyard Wall

23.2C with some cloud in the morning, clouding over further in the afternoon but still very warm. Rain due. Zephyr.

Maeve the Deerhound and I went through to Arbroath early this morning and had a wander round the harbour. The tide was out. Some men were gathering with fishing gear and big bait boxes to wait for one of the boats to take them out to sea for the day.

There were two boats on the boatyard ramp today. Maeve stood and waited patiently for me while I went up on the harbour wall to get a good angle for a shot of Emma Kathleen over the boatyard wall. She is from Gourdon, and registered in Montrose.

After lunch Maeve and I went for a walk. We went down the road to the shore road and carried on round the road past the railway bridge and on in a loop walk that took us back home. It felt very humid under the cloudy sky.
