Female Cardinal

I captured this sweet bird on the edge of one of my pots early this morning. Just a few days ago, the pot was full of lovely Portulaca, but apparently our squirrels have developed a taste for this and have eaten it back to nubs. Payback for making the bird feeders inaccessible! :-)
