The main challenge and benefit of trying to blip every day is that it helps train your eye to find something interesting in the mundane.

I'm a big fan of William Eggleston (my review of one of his books) and while I wouldn't profess to have anything like his eye, I think that blipping forces you to think more like him. After all, you can't always be somewhere interesting, doing interesting things. Most of the time we spend is in familiar places doing the same old thing.

So, tonight I saw the shadow of the tree in the wet road outside my house and snuck out, leaned against the fence and shot this. Can't say it's spectacular, but it's all about the attempt to find something in the mundane that matters.
