Lunar Perigee.
Today's photo just had to be the moon.
The full moon tonight is known as a "Super Moon"....well, personally, I think any beautiful moonlit night is a super-moon-night, but I'll let those in the know have their way, just this once.....
They say..... "A Super Moon is when the moon is closer to the Earth than at any other time, making it appear much bigger in the sky. The scientific name for this is a Lunar Perigee. The Super Moon will bring high tides and heightened emotions."
So there you go....the Lunar Perigee on the eastern coast of Australia, keeping watch over the Earth and all of its highly emotional inhabitants. :)
