Teeny Tiny Tie-died Fly

Or at least that's what I think it should be called. ;) It's actually a long-legged fly. It's smaller than a mosquito (somewhere between 1/16 inch and 1/4 inch long) and there are several in my garden. Most of them are quick and twitchy, but this one was kind enough to stay still for a few seconds. Whew! Because it sure wasn't easy to focus on him... But, I just had to have this shot of the colorful fly on the colorful petal... :))

I actually had a super hard time choosing today. I've been waiting for a hoverfly in flight shot for almost 2 years now, and I finally got it today.
