Fovant

On the way back from Southampton, mother visiting, took the A30 as it was such a beautiful evening and had to snap the Regimental Badges at Fovant as the stood in the glow of evening. Real works of art these are. Not entirely sure of the history but something to do with regiments meeting before marching to war and carving the badges into the chalk.
