Here's Misty the day after her op. As I thought, she was so much better this morning but not quite 100%. We had a little wander by Bassenthwaite where she finally had a drink. Kept her on a lead as she's not meant to get the stitches wet. Silly me couldn't find her extending lead, thought I'd lost it so bought another one this morning enroute to the lake. As I went to get a poo bag from out the car I found the lead underneath them, duh!! I then went to attach the lead to the collar but she wasn't wearing one, I took it off last night which I never do so didn't think to check it was on this morning, so had to improvise with a lead around her neck.
Anyhow she is now back to normal and is not bothered at all by the stitches which is great. Stitches come out in a week.

So here she is at Bassenthwaite and can you see what has her attention. If she hadn't been on the lead she would no doubt be in the water to get closer!

There was the most amazing sunset tonight, one of the best in a while. Not so much the actual sun setting as it soon disappeared into clouds, but the colours of the clouds was fantastic and I watched it for ages and ages. There's one here and another here
