Travels Through A Lens

Crater Lake

The temperature went from 22 degrees to 2 degrees in about 10 minutes as we drove up to Crater Lake in Oregon. An amazing site! The crater was formed from a volcano and filled with rain and snow water over the years giving it's beautiful blue colour.

Came across it on route between Crescent City in California and Bend in Oregon.

It's June and the road had only opened the week before as it's snow bound a lot of the year.

Don't think my foot wear was appropriate.
