Butterfly World

A wet Saturday in January and Grandad was visiting. Decided to go to Butterfly World to see some butterflies (surprise surprise!) as well as other insects and snakes.

Max is entranced here in watching the enormous terrapins - or maybe he just liked climbing up the fence to see them!! I was also incredibly brave and held the snake as it was passed round the visitors during a wee talk from the keeper. Grandad was not quite so brave but claims he has held one before and much bigger than the one I was holding. Aye right!!
