End of day .....

Back to work today.

The mood in the team is one of numbness after the news of the loss of a dear Team Manager/friend. She had left work after being off sick for sometime (18 months) and after 3 operations was beginning to show signs of recovery. 18 months later we did not expect to hear this sudden news. She had been planning her sons wedding (next month) as well as looking forward to the birth of another grandchild. She was in her late 50's. She was the most courageous woman and a brilliant social worker.
