Quick Stop at In-N-Out Burger During Layover

I?ve been hoping to minimize the photos I?ve been posting of food. There?ve been so many because I changed my diet.
Now, however, Amanda and I are on our way to Hawaii so I hope my photos are going to get more interesting.

We left Boston at 7:30 PM, landed in L.A. at 11:15 pm. Our flight to Maui doesn?t leave until 9:30 a.m.. One of my old friends from growing up met us at the airport and took us back to his house. On the way, I talked him into stopping at In-N-Out Burger, a California fast food hamburger place that only has four items on the menu: hamburger, cheese burger, double doube?and I can?t remember the fourth. They use good natural ingredients (real hamburger and potatoes) and cook the burger fresh for you when you order.

Anyway, it was the first hamburger I?ve had since December 19th. I remember the date because I was mountain biking with @guerra. A midnight hamburger and beer. I took one sip of the beer and then dumped it out. It tasted disgusting. A Miller Lite is only good in the summer time, after a long hard workout, when one wants to quench his thirst. For example, say you were in Colorado, bagged a couple of 14ers in a grueling 10 hour day, then got back to your car where you had stashed some lawn mower beers in a nearby creek where they chilled to a perfect 33 degrees (snowmelt runoff) and were waiting and happy to see you. They would be epic tasting. On a Friday night at midnight, with a burger, not so much.

Hopefully once we?re in Hawaii, the quality of my photos will go back up. Hey, at least I bothered to type something this time.
