Andy had a meeting on Islay on Wednesday morning, I decided to tag along and we drove to Tarbert ready for the morning ferry. On the way we planned to stop and have tea in Inveraray, unfortunately just as we reached Cairndow the road was closed and there had just been an accident. So we doubled back and took a lengthy 60 mile detour and were ready for our tea when we eventually arrived in Inveraray.

From Inveraray it was a hop, skip and a jump to Tarbert and bed.
