A birthday

To round off a beautiful summer's day and my husband's birthday, we had dinner at the Rose and Crown in Trent, Dorset. It was very busy, we had a delicious and beautifully presented dinner, and the service was excellent.
My husband had some interesting birthday presents, lots of cards, and an old acquaintance came to cast an expert eye over the vintage cars.
It was such a lovely afternoon so we had the birthday cake outside, although a gentle breeze made it tricky to light the candles!
