Caged in....

This morning's dog walk was along Chichester Harbour's shore. The tide was out, revealing the mudflats and reinforcing the greyness of the day. On the land side, there's a mix of sea defences made up of rocks trapped in wire to cement dykes.

The yellow of the lichen and shades of grey, the constrast of wire against the rock caught my eye.

In the meantime, Woofer Jnr got bored and went off to investigate the rabbit holes in the protected fields...
