A Dram for Don

Over the last few weeks we have been watching this rose closely. It certainly is no floribunda and the buds are slow to mature but it is well worth the wait. As is the glorious scent!
We bought this rose in memory of my late step-father, Don, as it was named after his favourite malt - Glenfiddich.
Another glorious day today but we have rain forecast for tomorrow. Well, you might have known, this is Scotland, it is the weekend and T in the Park (or "P in the dark!") is on!!
P.S. Late this evening we went up to the David Stirling memorial to watch the sunset. Just lovely!
