The postman brought a parcel for LooseCanon this morning, and I thought he was being rather evasive about it. It contained this nice shiny silvery thing which is about the size of a CD case. Anyway curiosity about this latest acquisition eventually got the better of me, so I rose a quizzical eyebrow in its direction whereupon the following conversation ensued:

Him 'It's a remote control camera thing for looking for things in places.'

Me 'What sort of things in which places?'

Him 'Lost things in dark places.'

Me. (Very slowly and desperately trying to think) ' Riiiight'

Him 'Think of it like an Endoscope'

Me ' Oh. Right. I see. But isn't it a bit big to go poking........

Him ' Dont be silly. I'll show you when I've got it working'

Cut to some time later when I find him in the garage wielding what looks like a self administered colonic irrigation kit.

'Oooooooh Maaaaatron' I can't resist saying, rather predictably.

It seems that something has got lost down in the depths of the Motorhome seat, and this has provided an excuse to purchase another gadget.
I'm assured it will be ever so useful for finding things under floorboards, down sofas etc. It should pay for itself in no time.

Personally I favour the torch and a magnet attached to a knitting needle with a rubber band approach. Seems like a lot of kerfuffle to locate a loose screw.

Update. I'm technophobe right? I was just testing your powers of observation.

THIS above is the scopey thingy., that silver thingy was the gadget for 'loading the drivers'.

Nope. Nor me.
