Lake Burley-Griffin

Had a bit of a wander on the southside of the big lake this morning. Sunny day but bitterly cold wind from the west. I went to a photo gallery out of curiosity. The exhibition they had on had about 16 photos on the wall, all of central australia and fairly mundane with a couple of exceptions. The sad thing for me was that they were straight out of the inkjet printer and pinned on to the wall. I may be old-fashioned, but I think pictures displayed for sale in galleries should be framed. If they aren't, it's as if the photographer doesn't value his own work and doesn't expect to sell anything anyway. Disappointing.
