Middle Branch

While being accosted by horseflies, I managed to get a few pictures while walking at the local conservation area. Poor Myles puppy got the worst of it! Next time I'll remember the insect repellantI

The flowers are purple loosestrife and though they are a pretty flower, they are extremely invasive. I saw none here last summer. There were so many dragonflies but not many sat still long enough to get a good close up. The recent rain has the river running pretty well.
