Have now started my little break in Edinburgh- along with Wendles56 - Jeanneb53 - and three other ladies who tour early this afternoon

First port of call was the castle - approaching it from the rear end - then a stroll down part of the Royal Mile - something to eat - and a walk to Calton Hill for fine views across the city - Salisbury Crags - and Holyrood House

Have yet to discover what a Scotsman wears under his kilt
