Never noticed this before
I have lived here for nearly 7 years and never noticed the fruit on next door's handkerchief tree (there must be a proper name for it) before. Good old blipping making me take a closer look at things.
I tried some 'bee in and out of flower' shots on the flowers on same tree but they were not too successful. Poor old bee kept bumping into my lens which was so close to the flowers because of the extension tubes. Practice and a tripod needed perhaps, plus less wind and maybe one to leave until I have a proper macro lens.
Other experiments with heuchera from above may well figure once I've refined my focussing skills.
Wondering if it is time to shoot in RAW at last.
Time for a cup of tea and a sit down with a photography magazine before bed and 4 days of training and such. The end of 4 years. I hope to get some suitable shots to mark that somehow, but not going to put too much pressure on myself (for once).
