Skiathos Day 2 - Skiathos Skies

This doesn't even come close to doing justice to the night sky of Skiathos where the Milky Way can be seen curving across the sky when you've let your eyes adjust.

As I mentioned already, this holiday I decided to not take picture after picture after picture, and this was just a quick tripod job from the balcony and sod the settings :o)

Day 2 was a day of getting acclimatised so we spent it by the pool before a meal out at a traditional Taverna that Chris and Hayley had recommended called Avli, where we also bumped into Nic and Jan with Stirling.

You don't go to Greece to lose weight.... the portions are always huge and as it's all home made you feel guilty leaving any! But sometimes there's no choice...
