Super sunshine

Today we were lucky to have beautiful clear blue sunny skies all day from early this morning. I met a good friend at our favourite cafe at the far end of the prom at 8.30. We had coffee and marmite on toast which was delicious and then went for a walk with her son's beautiful dog Noodles. I spent the rest of the day walking and sitting along the front until about 3pm when I got too warm. I retreated to my garden so I could sit in the shade. The birds were very busy unlike Pinkie and Pig who weren't busy at all; but they are 15 so I think they deserve to lay round in the shade! All in all it has been a very enjoyable day.
