never an ugly duckling

this little cygnet has never been an ugly duckling but she beginning to change into a beautiful swan.

the sad news is that she is now an only child, her 3 siblings haven't been seen for sometime. The most likely explanation is they have fallen down the weir and been unable to get back. They were all rescued on 1 occasion but the parents continue to swim near the fall and kids will be kids.
