The Old Cross

I walked up to tai chi this evening and passed the cross which used to stand at a cross roads in the village until the 1950's when it was moved. The old coaching road used to wend its way round the back of the village and i find it strange to think of my Great great great grandfather who was a coach builder in Shaftesbury working on the coaches which would have travelled it.
