Let there be Light!

It is just before 0700 in the morning and a few people, including myself have already started to gather for Lauds. The Service starts when the clock bell strikes out the first chime for seven o’clock!

As I entered the chapel five minutes before seven the light flooding into the vast arena was over-powering and yet I could not help but feel that this new day’s light was good for the soul. A wake up call from the past experiences of an eon of time, where the dawning light has shone on all of creation and made people wonder at it’s brilliance and majesty.
