Old UMIST building in Sackville Street, Manchester

I have been at exam boards this week at what was until recently the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST), now part of the University of Manchester (Sackville Street Campus). This is the rather splendid building I have been working in, still generally known as the UMIST Main Building and is a grade II listed building. Older Mancunians know it as the Manchester Municipal School of Technology or more fondly known as The Tech
