A foggy night at the esteemed institution

Went to a fascinating lecture tonight given by Jim Duncan from Cambridge entitled "The Violence of Hunger". Jim is a leading figure in cultural geography, and is credited as being one of the instigators of human geography's "cultural turn".
Was a bit surprised to find the fog had come down when we came out the lecture theatre. At least the fog was outside and not inside the lecture theatre - the presentation was very clear!!
