Rukungiri School Band to welcome us!

Today we've been to visit the children and look around the inspiring Rukungiri Modern School where Mission Direct have worked over several years until now the school is large enough to provide an excellent education for over 800 children.
In the early 19990s John Tumisiine, a Ugandan pastor, inheristed a small piece of land. Its heavy clay was useless for growing crops. John and his wife Alice soon realissed that God wanted them to give poor and orphaned children a better future. They turned the clay into bricks and created this school where loving care and education have transformed thousands of lives.
