PNW Postcard

Morning Beach, Galiano Island, looking east at Mt. Baker in WA state. The Tsawwassen, BC to Gulf Islands ferry heading for Active Pass. One of only 3 other families on the beach at water’s edge, 3 of ours are bunched in the surprisingly warm water to the right. (the 4th is making a sand house) H and I are sitting on a log under the trees in the shade. The parents are playing 9 holes of golf at the nearby very sweet Galiano golf course where we all met for lunch. Totally pleasant!! AND, the kids were VERY excited to come and report to us that they saw many many small but healthy looking starfish here on nearby rocks at this low tide! Curious but this is a different area….

More artwork in the studio, ice cream, a bit of boating and a visit to the neighbor’s sport court and it’s not quite dinnertime and I have the photos uploaded! Low key dinners on our own tonight…..
