T-8 No Winers Please
If there was ever a gentleman... then it would be Ermanno. I count myself lucky to be his friend. A genius of sorts, a restauranteur, an extraordinary sommelier, a husband, a father, a grandfather, a master of horses, a mountain goat on a mountain bike (or road bike), a green thumb, a master of ice cream and torts, a connaiseur of fine whisky, and the curator of his Vineyard... to name a few.
Tonight's theme is strength and tenderness... how nice to have a little girl who falls asleep on your chest. Her tenderness fills me with an incredible sense of strength. I've been dwelling on this the last few evenings... I think the true will be opposite with the new arrival. The promise of his future strength will fill me with tenderness. :)
I've been playing with a 'new' to me 1971 Leica Summicron-C 40 mm f/2.0 lens for the last few days. This lens is nearly older than me... and it is such a joy. I love the colors of this older lens with a single coating and pre-Aspherical. Not quite a 50 and not quite a 35. Very interesting focal length!! It seems to be sharp enough and very contrasty. What do you think?
