And let thy feet
Another full day in London. We started the day in Covent Garden then on to the British Museum to photograph the wonderful Norman Foster ceiling. Next to The Monument to the Great Fire of London in 1666, where we climbed the 311 spiral steps to the top. The 360 degree views of London were great but unfortunately there is a wire mesh which is just not big enough to poke a lens through.
After lunch we wandered around the financial district and then on to Tower Bridge. Later, after dinner, we went back to the river near London Bridge to photograph Tower Bridge and The Shard, London's tallest building, at dusk.
Lots of images to process when I get home but for now today's blip is from the British Museum where I managed to get the Tennyson quotation with just one man walking across it. From this image you wouldn't believe how very crowded it is.
