Les abricots

Didn't sleep at all well, but lovely to wake up to the sounds of a Parisienne morning. We walked over to my cousins flat and passed some gorgeous little shops selling exquisite cakes, cheeses, flowers and, here, fruit. Huge baskets spilling over with cherries, peaches etc etc.
We had a fantastic brunch and catch up, then headed off to the conference as the weather deteriorated. Really cold, wet and windy and so the view from the Eiffel Tower reception was virtually nil. But we had a lovely time meeting people from all the international societies, V getting invitations to visit Yokohama, Melbourne and Sydney!
Hard to choose a blip, but love these....
