Red Admiral

We were sitting out on the deck today, C was home from holidays and telling us all about it, when this butterfly attached itself to the wall behind us. I never get too many pictures of butterflies, they flit so quickly, but this one stayed for a while and I enjoyed taking some pictures of it. This was the one I liked best. Quite good in large mode!

C & A for dinner tonight, and then they went round to A's and we went dancing. Very warm tonight for Scottish Country Dancing, but we managed.....

While his dad is away, A had 'a few friends in' last night, so he had a fair bit of tidying to do, and to try to get rid of carpet stains too! Good job he has grandparents!
