Ahhhh ... AWACS

Some surprise in the office today. Suddenly some strange noise, like fighters passing nearby. We went over to the window and watched the next waves come in, as the one here with the AWACS (picture quality is not best, only had my mobile with me).

Was quite impressive to see all these airplanes, including fighters, transporters and helicopters passing by. In the middle of the picture is the Grande Arche, the meeting point for the planes, from where they then head towards Arc the Triomphe and Champs Elysées.

And as you may have guessed in the meantime, they are training for the parade on 14th July.
