Letter to the unknown soldier

As history coordinator I spent the afternoon at the local secondary school with a group of my pupils. They entered a competition to write a letter to the unknown solider at paddington station. I took the winners to form the centre of the human poppy - I'm also in the black part but luckily you can't see my face as I hadn't straightened my hair!

It was aired live on the BBC news at lunchtime and I've just seen in on again this evening.
