Aberlemno stones

Today I went to admire the Aberlemno Pictish stones, these carved stones are over 1100 years old, the cross slab in this photo shows a hunting scene on one side with a crescent and V rod symbol and on the side in this photo with moi shows a lovely cross flanked by Angels.
It was another school day for yours truly but an interesting one nevertheless, the Picts are a fascinating people with an interesting history.
Anyway, time for a banana smoothie and getting my monkey socks up on the poofy.
Can't wait until tomorrow.
