Rockpool Feast.....

So tonight we went for dinner at Rockpool.... one of the top three restaurants in Sydney..... & very posh it was too! What you get is a crap iPhone picture of an amazing meal!!! I felt enough of a tourist pulling out my phone to take a picture never mind taking along my D90!

So evening started in the cocktail bar, Manhatten for me, Almond sidecar for Andrea..... both amazing!!!

Andrea had a plate raw tastes of the sea.... Sushimi( dunno of that is spelt right ) I had charcoal roasted squid & pork belly.....

We then had steaks..... Fantastic steaks !!!! One 300 day aged rib eye & one 36 month old fillet..... With sides of mushy peas with a poached egg/ potatoes cook in wagyu fat & rosemary & onion rings..... Washed down with a nice bottle of wine!!!

Now as you may have guessed from Reading this blip over the last year we are both foodies!!! But this resturant is possibly the poshest i've every been in!!!

The occasion for tonights indulgence is our 5 year anniversary.... Time flies!!!! Anyway time for a night cap & off to bed..... Chriso's stag do tomorrow..... A day at the beach and it's gonna be up around 40c tomorrow!!!! Sunburn a strong possibility !!!
