Norwich Cathedral

It's been really windy today, definitely not a day for messing around in boats or on the beach. We did think it would be a good day to explore Norwich however, as it seemed to have a few things of interest to us tourists, namely a castle, shops and a cathedral. The castle, although it's 900 years old, was not what we expected. It's now a museum, and the only way to see the dungeons and the battlements was to go on a tour, but we missed the battlement tour and the dungeon tour only had one place left. No, they couldn't take all three of us, health and safety, don't you know...
So we passed on the delights of the museum, at £6.50 each for admission, and had a wander round the cathedral instead (well, I did, the others were not interested).
Bought some fruit and bread at the market, then headed back to the cottage.

This is the cloisters of the Cathedral, check out my Flickr stream for a couple of wee details spotted around the place.
