Twitchers!

I was in Pittville Park today having a photography day with Ann, my neighbour, when we came across these lovely chaps.

Word had gone out on the Twitcher network that a Night Heron had been seen in Cheltenham. There was quite a crowd of birdwatchers there with an array of impressive lenses. These kind gentlemen let me look through their telescope and I got a good look at the bird asleep in the foliage. They were confident he would emerge to fish but we had places to go and photos to take so we left them to it. I hope they got some good shots!
