St John The Evangelist

This is the parish church situated on the junction of St John's Road and Kensington Place

This is a beautiful Victorian building which is used for regular worship including baptisms, weddings and funerals Facilities are also available to stream services. The building includes a hall and kitchen which are used for church organisations and for work within the community.

Church (Anglican)
Built 1859-60 by Prichard and Seddon of Llandaff. Tower completed 1911 by John Coates Carter. The church suffered bomb damage in 1941, and after severe damage in a subsequent fire the interior was reconstructed 1951-52.
