Ball rolling

or in my case the stones - at least 10 rolled out this morning which was good news and allowed me to enjoy the day despite the pouring rain.

I wasn't allowed to watch re-runs of Top Gear this evening. After hearing an initial scream and then soon later some clapping, things went rather still. Even managed to hear the German commentator say "What on earth is going on here?".

I think both nations were somewhat dumbstruck, if for different reasons. Hope it now means Brazil will be playing their talented, fascinating football again by the next World Cup. I do now hope Germany win the final - the trainer has done an awful lot over the last 8 years and been so close so often that he deserves at least one title.
