Oops... Lost My Balance

It was difficult selecting today's blip.

After receiving a call from my neighbor informing me that the oldest of the two baby hummers had left the nest yesterday and that I might want to capture the second baby before it left the nest. I came out to find the first one flying in and around the tree between our homes. I was able to capture a few pictures of the baby perched, loosing its balance, and of the mom.

I also got the picture I came out for and was going to label "and then there was one" and of the mom feeding the one in the nest.

As you can see I choose one of the shots of the baby losing its balance while perched.

How lucky to be able to see the little one practicing how to fly.
