Le Tour de Yorkshire in Knaresborough

We were there.With a few million others we stood, we waited, we cheered and we clapped. Even Stanley Thunder was impressed as Yorkshire did us proud. It was the third day of the Tour but the last day of our trip. By planning carefully, we were home in time to watch the day's highlights on TV after listening to Lewis Hamilton winning the Silverstone Grand Prix and Novak Djokovic beating Roger Federer in the Wimbledon Final on the car radio. Another great summer of sport to enjoy. Just a pity that Croatia (my team in the Health Centre World Cup Sweep Stake) got put out so early...
