The Entrance

I was taking pictures in my neighbors garden this evening and noticed a dome shaped hive on the side of their porch. Three to four bees kept coming and going presumably to bring back supplies to build their nest.

I figured this would be a blip-ortunity that I could not pass up. So I slowly approached the nest and stopped about 18 inches from the entrance, raised the lens, fired off a couple of dozen shots and then got the hell out of there.

My neighbors that have these new pets do no know they are there and will have to inform them when they get home this evening.
