Still Raining

It has been raining for a week.

I'm not complaining, we can always use the rain. One of the things I love about the San Francisco Bay Area is the changing landscape. In some places they have amazing colors in the fall. What we get from the winter rains are bright green hillsides. As we move into the drier summer season the hills turn a golden brown and the big oak trees make for a beautiful contrast. Two very distinct looks to the landscape.

Tonight I decided to try and shoot commuters coping with the rain on their way home. Of the shots I took, a most unlikely one caught my eye. It almost feels like a pointillism painting.

SF has a great carpool system where people line up for rides. My blip, through the car window, are the commuters waiting for a ride.
