Hawks

Visits around RAF Valley today, including one to the squadron that trains people on the 1974 vintage Hawk T1. They are very relaxed about people photographing stuff! The cadets seemed to really enjoy the talks and visits, and I was delighted to make a connection between things - the old 'Thursday Wars' that I occasionally attended in naval design days, when they navy simulated missile strikes on ships - it was the Royal Navy T1 Hawks that were the missiles. They still do it now!
